Description:   This raster mosaic was generated from air photography that was acquired by Land Administration over the communities of Tsiigehtchic in the summer of 2020. It has been produced to meet the mapping needs of land administrators for issuing and administering leases and other interests on the land. The aerial photography adds to the existing catalog of imagery so that changes can be monitored to provide a record of how the land has been used over time. The photography was used to compile new base mapping that was created at a scale of 1:2000.The resolution of the photography is 20 cm and was acquiredJuly25, 2020by McElhanney Ltd. All processing of the orthophotos was completed by Alberta Geomatics & Mapping Consultants Inc. (AGMC) using airborne GPS and previous mapping as control. The accuracy of the orthophoto is estimated at +/-75cms.This mosaic also includes imagery that was provided to Land Management and Administration by the Department of Infrastructure for their inclusion in the Atlas Mosaics, this imagery includes the communities of Tuktoyaktuk, Délı̨nę, Jean Marie River, Nahanni Butte, Samba K'e, Tulita and Wrigley. The resolution of this imagery is between 4 and 10 cm and was accquired between Augsut 13th and September 10th, 2020.
